College Football Picks for Saturday, Nov. 7
21 Tier 2 picks and two parlays for Saturday's college football card, $10 on every pick. Results fill in as games finish.
A big slate and a clean one: 21 picks, all Tier 2. The model and the outside research agree on the side in almost every game this week, so the picks come from games where both have the team clearing the line with room to spare, not from upsets.
- Strongest reads: Mississippi State, UNLV and Utah. Both reads have each one winning by well more than the spread. They make up the three-leg parlay.
- Underdogs both reads have winning: Penn State at Washington and Tulane against Tulsa. The market has them as the dog; the model and the research have them winning outright. They make up the two-leg parlay.
Three picks from earlier in the week went 2-1: Central Michigan and New Mexico won, South Florida lost.
How picks are made
- Tier 1: the model and the outside research agree with each other but not with the betting line.
- Tier 2: all three pick the same team, the model is at least 5 points more confident than the market, and the research has that team beating the spread by 3 or more.
- Skip: the reads disagree, the gap is too small, or the price on a big favorite isn't worth it.
